Hash Kemensah 27.07.08

Solo ride to RV in kemensah that morning. Seems no traffic and the sunny weather-forecast make the enthusiasm with a passion to the destiny. kelolo offered the ride but politely deny and targeting to cycle and i made it.

Gggrrrreat Bash. Many thanks to Nazri, Gus and all the other co-hares for putting on a terrific ride. I know they all put a ton of work into making this happen and I'm sure everyone else appreciates it as much as I do. If anyone knows how much work building new trail takes I guess I do so my hat is off to you. Riders like these guys and the other hares this year have really raised the bar for the quality of bashes we are getting.

I took along route and trying pace zaidi@mr beskal, pine , meng but gave up after 10kms..They were great riders and some other day i will turn to them.

It was a fascinating route with a canopy throughout the trail, climbing, downhill, pushing, and 85% rideable.Overall, it was a good hash. Climbs were steep enough to make you (at least me) feel sorry for not staying in your bed, descent was good and long enough,

Sejuk di puncak langat jam 845am



It was a glory saturday morning where 6 of us conquer a hill of langat. Inspired by Zali and we started at 745am from my house. Pace all the way lead by zali, pak abas and me. The rest zz, ref and pine was joining later.

Steep hill, climbing at max heart rate, pushing and dancing to the top. Wow so magnificent and i made it without any stop. So satisfied and the reward is a downhill where i clocked 70km/h. scary fast and full concentration. Ref....jual durian

batu 14 was a destiny, king of fruit is a cabo that refill for that day. Memang best and rasa puas even just 85km riding distance. Yummy....ermmm

Last friday, July,4 2008 there are new birth of the history in my life where new rid was re-born and now belong to me. This bike special dedicated to Afreen., my youngest daughter as her first look at the bike and her comment......"antikk"

FUJI Roubaix what's it called..Aluminium butted frame, 52 size, bonded carbon fork and seat stay
105 groupset..enuff for me as a beginner rite.

The official ride for that weeks is Janda Baik with my buddy...zali, pak abas, pak rahim, akmal...they are good riders and good lesson approached.

Janda BAik is good for all type of rid. Doesnt matter what u ride...but i prefer MTB to climb

anyway... this may improve my stamina when offroad...

Epic Ride Ulu Rening-29.06.08

Epic ride 45km ni aku terpaksa pendekkan kepada 25km (1lo0p)

Sebab2 utama:


1) Batuk yg amat, so aku cepat penat n tak bole nak merokok
2) Selsema yg sentiasa mengalir buat idung aku tersumbat and had breath difficulity
3) I lost my Cat Eye for a second time in a row within 1 week
4) Bee Bite masa downhill. Aku geram betul kat berader sorg tu....dia yg kacau rumah lebah

Trail condition was so suck..muddy..rata2 riders tak dapat nak layan downhill. memang plan nak buat 2 loops tapi disebabkan keadaan di atas tu..i decided to complete 1 loop jer. Lagi pon condition beskal tak berapa bagus. Mud crank, mud rd, mud chain and the sound was so irritating while pedaling and seems to break if more force put into it.

Lets say if,
saturday tu tak hujan.. trail memang cun.. almost 80% rideable and the view of the Titiwangsa Back Bone was so incredible. Terrace memang cun..kalau dapat layan memang 100% kepuasan.
single track yg memukau kan di rimbunan pokok buluh memang Layannnnnnnnnn selepas false loop yg direka oler Hares. Rolling trail yg dahaga kan percikan adrenalin memang syok and the momentum to create fast movement memang gilerrrssssss...tapi ape kan daya..tu kalau ari sabtu tak hujan lerrr... tapi ari sabtu malam hujan trun ngan lebatnyer...

Epic ride Sg Pusu-Kemensah 21.06.08

Seperti yg dicanangkan oleg cikgu zaidi dan rakan2 yg lain, maka penetapan pun dibuat tuk berjumpa di pintu masuk UIA dimana 14 riders bersedia tuk hadapi laluan epik yg amat mengujakan ini.

Yg hadir: Shaque, mrBeskal, Zaidi@mrringan, Gab, Dino, Azmi, Envio,Nazli, HjMat,Red, Syed, Farisk, Pine, Komeng,



830pagi rolling time from UIA ke Kg Pusu dan terdapat sedikit pendakian tuk sampai ke trail head. Pine yg pernah ke trail ni 4 thn lepas cuba memberi sedikit penjelasan. Dino yg bulan lepas da masuk..masih blurr tentang trail head.(dia ni kuat mkn kepala ikan tu)

Trail head meliputi kawasan hutan yg terpelihara. Memang indah permandangan hutan disini..this is virgin..i guess. Pendakian dan rolling tuk jarak selama 2 jam ditempohi sehingga kem ketangga. Kem Ketanga break point. Dino ada pesan kat aku..if anybody feel to turning back..just decide here becoz after this..no such way man..Aku diam kan jerrrr..
Kesemua 14 riders meneruskan perjalanan.Gab mengetuai..Pine Sweeper, sesekali ngan aku lak.
Memasuki fasa berikutnyerr....memang menduga segala kekuatan.
Kita hampir lost. waluapun 2 gps dibawa. Dr Kem Ketanga menuju ke old dam..trail zig zag crossing the river.
Aku tak ingat berapa byk sungai da ku harungi. At last selepas 2 jam baru ler nampak

Rehat lagi...penat siut....baru aku terasa betapa penatnyer kali sejak hampir setahun mtb.
lepas ni menuju ke Big Tree. Dino sekali lagi mengepalai..dan gab.
Aku tgk ada seorg Pakcik (X guru besar sekolah zaidi da mula kebiruan.) memang penat..Masing2 da terbayangkan char kew teow kerang...nasi ayam waktu tu jam 230ptg.

Perjlanan ke Big tree mengambil masa yg tak lama sebab path masih wujud dan Traillog GPS masih bole digunapakai

Sesampai di Big Tree....jln mulai putus. 2 rider kebocoran tiub, kita kehilangan denai menuju keKem Sleh.Aku dgn terornyer mengunakan GPS tuk merecce jln ke kem sleh dan seterus menetak poko di bawah ni tuk dijadikan panduanAkhirnyer dptgak kami keluar menuju Kem Sleh...tgk da jam 330ptg..Selepas solat zohor bersama dino..perjalanan diteruskan menuju ke Pokok roket.
Baru aku tau betapa sakitnye cramp..dua tiga kali aku berhenti sebab cramp, tapi perjalanan harus die=teruskan..
Sesampai di Pokok rokoet hujan mulai turun...trail mulai basah dan lumpur yg amat (marah lah pine aku pakai perkataan ni) Pine, komeng da hilang kemana, aku turun last sekali ngan dino.

crank aku da mula bising akibat lumpur yg terlalu teruk...sorg demi sorg ku pintas walupon cramp...cuma zaidi, gab, azmi,vio hilang dlm terang..pine n komeng jgn cakap...Syed, n reza mcm adik dan abg tak bole berengang..Kesian Hj mat....terlalu penat dan overdose lalu pengsan di penghujung jln .

jam 5 sampai ke kemnesah....Kesian hj Mat...betul2 da overdose.. tak bole gerak...
cate eye aku hilang setelah 2000km dia berbakti kat aku..

Xploring Gohtong Jaya via Btg Kali

By right our plan is to tour to KL-PD-KL but due to certain unforeseen matter, we change the route to GOMBAK > ULUYAM> BTG KALI> GOHTONG JAYA> GENTING SEPAH> GOMBAK (hereinafter called as GUBG)

We are welcome by minor Climb at Sri Gombak at 745am continuous climb to Ulu Yam, climb n more climb to reach P3 ulu yam waterfall. the climbing section only ended at the natural hill water sources after 1 hr ride.

Follow by the unconscious downhill where clocked about 65km/h and really fun after the climbed. The flat route with the hills and the green scenery was made feel so humble to the CREATOR yakni ALLAH SWT.

Reached Btg Kali town and refueled with the isotonic drink at nearby Chinese shop.

Signboard shows another 26km to hit genting highland. but.........the fantastics climb are waiting front there. it will abuse us mental n physiology with max zone % and max hate rate .

Decided to break at a small barn near the road and delight with a bread n drinks and the most priceless cigarette blow light up here.....

The journey conti.... climb n climb n climb until we saw Rn R at Sg Btg Kali. Take a dose of caffein at the warung. They said another 3-4km to reach skyway cable car... haa lega rase....

Climb..n climb....climb....stopped........climb......climb...stopped....... we do it for every single km. and i do not how the warung guy calculated told me, it only 4km...my trip meter clocked 7.5km to reach Pondok Police..and another 500m to the cable car. really exhausted, minor cramp, hunger, phsyco torturing all in the package. but the most appreciation to ourself where we did it well with satisfaction and and success to fight with our own enemy, yourself.

heading to Genting Sempah after a break at balai polis gohtong jaya. We thought all over go back route is downhill but it seems incorrect hypothesis. We have to climb to the most apex altitude to get all the rewards.

Then Dino.....did the best downhill where he over took few vehicles to GS and so extremist that boy.
Downhill from GS to mimaland is my play ground but the weather started to play the role to put anticlimax dose and the rain started drop the a tiny water mist n followed aggressively.

Lunch at 330pm at Gombak bt 3.

here we can get the best MILO ICE......creamy n so miloishhhh the taste.

Cameron Highland 31.05.08

The journey was so great in Jim Thompson trail.Length is about 50km a loop.

At 600am all mandatory equipments geared up and a bunch of riders was having simple breakfast that provided by NAZA BBB. Full of protein to ensure the tolerance and enuff energy to cycle.

At 730am we reached Ulu bertam where all the riders stage at this area. Well Known as pekan koboi and the transition area for all vege wholeseller.

At 800am after short briefing and prayer we left, and warm up pedaling to the trail.

whether seems so great at the beginning of the day and no complaint at all..Most of the trail for that day are tarmac and cemented road for sure the climbing was so torturing with high gradient

We encountered few rolling track but the most amazing is 7km down hill. For those addicted riders..here come your rewards but there are no riding without injury. Eventually few riders had did their stunt during the clashed and dropped. Its seems nothing for MTBIKERs.

The first pit stop was at Kem Mansun after 2 hours ride. Refueling is a must for those riders. They are no where of turning back once u reached here.

The journey continue to Surau that approached a lot of climbing skill. This is what we learn..pedaling with spinning method is the best approach.

Surprisingly, we clocked too fast to reach the destiny . 1145am. After a long break and Zohor, the climbing was so critical where the cemented road was terrible with the holes and slippery. The torturing was added with the heavily rain but for me this is the best part for the guy who loves challenge

Ohhhhhhh gushhhhhhhh....my tyre....flatted . another tricky moment while ur adrenalin is pumping out, suddenly this occasion held. After change to a new tube...the climbing was conti...

till we saw Ladang Boh at the top of the hill...... That is our goal.

Do you know when is the best moment having a tea?......at this point the answer after all happened
we reached there around 530pm

after a glass of tea... we decided to return to Ulu bertam...and it was a great journey in my life,,

Batu Dam- 19.04.08

Batu Dam well known for the most riders in Klang valley. Have the authentic value of the scenery, muddy, single track downhill, climbing of course, leeches and lots more.

Lebih kurang 12 riders and majority of them doesn't try the trail yet, for me it was something like my playground during childhood history. Cuaca pada ari tu..hujan and lembab., Sampai jer kat pagar dam..aku da basah kuyup.
Part of rider dah excited nak ke trailhead. romzi..ofis mate aku da separuh nyawa waktu tu..I just pump him a motivation to proceed and enjoy the ride. The rest have leaved me behind and ari tu aku jadi sweeper la. ikut plan memang aku kena lead the trail but tak per laa.. Mizi and Azmi yg guide them.

30% of the trail da tak mcm dulu. byk yg da flooded so it cut off the temptation to show to the newbies, for me i really frustrated sebab kurang MARI lerrr.

I told mizi to wait for me at 1st stream, and we decided to follow clock wise trail and it
was more rideable for noob.

Aku tgk romzi and mior (fren of red) penat giler..... aku tau paras gula Rom da kurang..nasib baik aku bawak air sirap...

Aku tinggalkan diorg and try chase the other group member yg kat depan...Aku jumpa Azmi, syed, aznam....lepak sambil tunggu group yg kat belakang.. seperti biasa power stick dinyalakan...

We reached at the 2n river at 11.00.. Biasa ler kalau bawak org baru sure lambat sikit...

Lepak for half an hour..kite downhill to cmplete one loop.

Unfortunately, the trail for looping dah tak accessible for riding sebab ada landslide and org curi tanah. dah jadi mcm gaung... and agak sukar tuk melepasi..

So there one way to go....ikut riverstone..and tarmac to RV....

sampai dlam 1.30 kat bawah..and so frustrated sebab tak dapat nak bawak newbies ni the best part of Batu dam...

Tapi aku dgr..diorg ni enjoy sgt batu dam...( diaorg blom tgk yg enjoy lagi..)

PutraJaya Critical Mass 25.04.08

hSebagai pembuka bicara, ucapan terima kasih bebanyak kepada riders yg dgn sukarelanyer melibatkan diri dlm kritical Mass pada malam tu. Lebih kurang 30 riders semua nyer...Tak sangka gak sambutannyer...

Jam 2115, kebanyakan rider da mula berkumpul di hadapan pintu utama JPM bersebelahan masjid putrajaya. Beberapa riders yg aku kenal dan yg aku tak kenal mulalakan seisi bersalam-salaman sebagai tanda perkenalan semula..Sorry lerr aku tak dpt ingat semua rider yg ade....yg aku ingat mcm Fauzan (GLC member...Kelolo dia ni baru nak daftar), Hafiz n wife dr mantin, Iron horse, hokage, red and fren, kay, Young kedai beskal, Andy @lordie n daphnie, bro-bro yg aku tak ingat nama2nyer..Sorry yekkk ingatan terhad 256Mb jer hehehe)

KAyuhan dimulakan pada jam 2145 selepas semua bersiap sedia dgn blinker and front light cat eye.Aku mcm biase lampu kelip2 pasar malam jer..Mlm tu kayuhan memang santai..melintasi bangunan kerajaan yg menjadi mercu tanda Putra Jaya...Block C dan Block D. Memang ramai crowds pada mlm tu, dan aku tahu dalam hati mereka tersemat satu perasaan yg tak bisa diluahkan kire-kire mcm ni la( WA BEST NYER...RIDE MEMALAM MCM NI...BANYAKNYER AWEK...MCM NAK JOIN JER.- yg lelaki nyer isihati la.) kalau yg perempuan lak ( WA MACHO NYER ABG2 NI..KAKINYERRR ERMMM..MACAM NAK JOIN HA?)

Kayuhan santai dgn kelajuan 17-20km/h diteruskan.dan terus melalui PICC (Putrajaya International Conventional Centre).Memang cantik lla putrya ni..kena lak suasana cuaca yg cool ditaburi bintang-bintang dan angin sepoi2 yg sempoi.

Aku dapat perhatikan beberapa rider berbual sesama mereka, gelak-gelak..sesekali cuba menunjukkan skill memassing..dan yg pasti suasana memang dibawah kawalan dan selian yg bagus.. Aku tabik lerr semua rider yg involve sebab mentaliti mereka sama mcm mentaliti org eropah,,,malah lebih bagus sebab tak suka meludah dan membuang hingus merata-rata.

Dalam bebanyak rider ni ada sorang brader ni pakai tricycle..caya lerr... Bro ni namanyer ............. ( tolong fill in kannamenyer) memang aku kagum sebab dia ni datang dari jauh..................... (dr mana tolong fill in kan) sangup bersantai ngan budak2 muda..semata-mata nak menghidupkan suasana critical mass pada malam tu. Dia kata teringat masa Critical MAss kat San Fransico..tapi lebih hebat...Aku kata ngan dia tak per bang... lepas ni buat lagi hebat dr San fransisco Coffee.. dia sengih (sewel ape budak ni)

Kayuhan diteruskan menuju ke alamanda..dan sesetagh rider mula breakaway...masa tu baru 8km. Yela fitness level tak sama kan... tapi sesetangah rider yg budiman mula me recce balik rider yg tertingal.. Ye sadara kite dr matin....berada dibelakang selepas apai@sweeper mengetemukan mereka dgn group yg kedua. Group peloton dan mula lepak kat atas bukit menantikan group ke2 tuk re-join.

Rehat bersama Kit Kat dan 7-up revival, ditaja khas oleh sedara kiter yg aweknyer naik beskal...tapi owner beskal naik kete. Mr..............(fill in the blank) sudi menaja minuman dan mkn tuk semua riders.Memang aku respek lerr group kali ni
Aku sempat berbual ngan brader dr Kajang En..................dr kajang bersama beskal roadi ORBEA dan anak pompuannyer.. caya lerr brader..dia kata enjoy gak sesekali buat mcm ni.

Kayuhan diteruskan....Firdaus mengepalai group. Malang memang tak berbau... Firdaus jatuh tergolek..hidung n muka menyembah bumi akibat terlanggar batang besi n batu kecik ditgh jln ( aku cuma diberitahu ole pelapor di tempat kejadian sebab amasa tu aku kek belakang sekali tgh hisap rokok) cedera nye amat ringan sebab darah yg mengalir skit... alignment gigi dan hidup tak lari... siku dan lutut darah skit jer.) ok ler kot..

Selepas melintas alamanda yg tersergam indah...kayuhan diteruskan menuju ke RV iaitu di dpn JPM kembali. Pecutan dan Henjutan dilakukan semata-mata tuk menunjuk star masing-masing...Peduli ler ngan diorg janji semua happy. Tepat jam 2330, semua rider selamat balik kepangkuan masing-masing dan Pak guard kat situ dah mula tunjuk belang dgn menghalau kiteorg balik. Baik bang...kite da nak balik ni...lagi pon kite org tak bawak katil nak tido sini..celah seorg rider.

Seperti biasa post ride meal.. di double trouble. Kay cakap...jumpe kat sana. aku ngan confidentnye..orait kay ( mcm aku tau mamak double trouble) aku pon jadi guider lerr konon nak lepak kat mamak yg Kay maksudkan tu... Tapi we r in deep trouble. rupenyer bukan kat double trouble tapi mamak lain... mknan da order. i told daphnie just inform Kay that we at the wrong mamak... la...

Ni hash yg ke 3 aku join..Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP)

Trail hash ni panjang nyer 30 km..
Ape yang menarik dpt dikongsikan...hash kali ni di ladang kelapa sawit..Ldang Tuan Mee

Aku bertolak dr rumah lebih kurang jam 745am menuju ke rawang.. dimana redza sedia menunggu di tol

sesampai di BTP...kelihatan ramai rider da ready register

jam 930am selepas briefing...semua dilepaskan
Pechighro merupakan trail yg pertama...sejauh 2 km ..penuh ngan technical ride sambil mencelah-celah di pokok2. terdapat beberapa ram and banks yg bole dikategorikan sebagai tahap sederhaana. Apa yg dikesali terlalu ramai rider n sesak , so tak dpt ler nak layan sgt

Then followed by the palm plantation trail... where the climbing is a bit tricky and required a lot of effort. still ok..followed by the terraces that needs a concentration during handling the bike.

Aku rasa da mula penat walaupon baru 10km masa tu tapi tak perr....kena kuat skit lagi

2nd terrace memang best.. aku da pernah layan kat sini..so ni kali ke2.biase jerr aku rasa...byk roller coaster trail terrace..tapi bg yg tak biase memang menolak ler

3rd terrace pon cantik... tinggi..dan aku berjya buat switch back masa rear wheel aku sangkut kat bushes.

other 14km, is a rideable part.. but...the heat make lots of rider take a chicken loops. but not me.. i still have passion to ride...even in the hottest sun in this year.. but it was regretfull due to condition and temperature..

aku rasa mcm nak kena heatstroke je panas giler masa tu...

at the end jam 1 aku sampai nad i noticed my cat eye recorded my average speed is 9.3km/h
slow siut...

redza sampai jam 2..heehehe

anyway aku rasa puas ride ari tu walaupon panas....watch out next hash
